NAD+

For research purposes only

NAD+

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, CAS 53-84-9) is the oxidized form of the central cellular redox coenzyme. It cycles between NAD+ and NADH to carry electrons through glycolysis, the TCA cycle, and the mitochondrial electron transport chain. It is also the obligate substrate for sirtuin deacylases (SIRT1-7), PARP enzymes in DNA repair, and CD38/CD157 ectoenzymes. Research applications include metabolic flux analysis, sirtuin biochemistry assays, and NAD+ biosynthesis and consumption pathway studies. For laboratory research use only.
